- Its hard to understand Patlucky why no one was looking for this dog .
- 2018-03-17 17:14 Patlucky
- I cannot believe this dog has not been claimed
With a harness and lead he is clearly well loved

- I have enlarged the picture as much as I can & I think Doglost Anne is correct that the white is from the harness. Stunning looking dog I hope all goes well for him.

- From vets page "**Update 28.02.18. We have spoken to Birmingham Dogs Home this morning and they confirm that no-one had come forward. He is therefore now available for rehoming although he cannot leave them until 5th March. He is in kennel 47 and has been assessed. He's 'lively' friendly and healthy. Probably 3-4 years old and happy with other dogs. If you would like to offer him a home get in touch with them on 0121 643 5211**"

- Any news? I shared via FB and we thought might have been a dog from Ireland? But NO 😣 Is it 'Bilko'? Someone must know this lad. These harnesses are used by hard core doggy folk too 😀 Spoke to both vet and home today but they won't give chip detail. And are adamant that they cannot trace the chip. BUT how'd they know he was chipped in Ireland? I have folk over there who can help but need number 😣

- I have even phoned Solihull Hospital to make them aware of this dog in case owner was injured and doesn't understand why no call has come to them advising he's been found (chip not registered)
- 2018-02-28 13:57 Anne
- I wondered that but they have been in touch with Birmingham Dogs home and are pretty sure this isn't bilko. Seen on the FB page for the vet who originally had this chap that police traced his chip to Ireland ? What could that mean ? Especially as it's an unregistered chip.

- Anne is it not possible that this dog has been rechipped. Have Bilkos owners checked to be absolutely certain? If the original chip didn't read or had migrated it could be a possibility.

- Definitely not Bilko - wrong chip number. Im just worried this chap somehow escaped from his owner who may have been injured in the area and dog found loose but owner may have been taken to hospital ?! In touch with Birmingham Dogs Home and he's still not been claimed. So sad x

- This one went missing with harness and lead attached is found ine defo Male ?.http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=126000

- FB page states that this lad was moved to Birmingham Dogs Home
- 2018-02-25 20:00 Anne
- Have contacted Bilko's owner (ref. 120113) regarding this dog. Bilko was even wearing the same harness as this when he went missing ! They called and left a message to get more details about this boy but no-one has called back. They will try Birmingham Dogs Home tomorrow. Unsure if the white patch to the left of the picture is white fur or just where the harness has come apart and the stuffing is showing ? Otherwise this looks so much like Bilko. Hope to hear more tomorrow.
