It is Selby Game Fair at Carlton Towers this weekend - 21/22/23/24 March - very popular with lots of dog people from a wide area - it must be worth getting some posters there or a stand with all the missing dogs on or something. I don't think it is Ruby but might be worth just checking out the lurcher brindle aprox 3 years, photo shown on sellby disrtict council website, up for rehoming.

i was only told of the sighting a day after it happened so if it was her she was long gone. Few wind up calls but nothing else yet gonna contact local press to run a story on monday. thank you all for your support x

I've just spoken to Ruby's owner, the last sightings was possibly Saturday. I've alerted him of the found dog and he is going to look at it and would like to pass on his thanks for checking rescues for him. Jan x

Thanks sukimax for posting the link. I've had a look at the dog, they are very similar but the markings look slightly different to me especially on the hind legs and colouring but that could be the light. Have tried to ring kennels to check on the details before alerting Ruby's owner, but no answer. Will speak to Ruby's owner and ask him to look at the found dog. Jan x

sukimax123, thanks for the info, I have tried to find the dog you are referring to but cannot find the page, I'm in work at the moment and have run out of time, but have emailed Ruby's DL poster to them. EMAIL FRM OWNER: Ruby got out monday the 12th, had a few possible sightings in the yaddlethorpe area of scunthorpe, she currently has a red skin mass on her left hind leg that looks like a boil type injury. Cheers

have reminded owner a couple of times but he has been busy out looking for ruby day and night,he had made his own posters before i told him about this site.there has been a few sightings on parkwood,yaddlethorpe ,high leys road and speaking to a dog owner today whilst walking they said moors road yesterday morning,problem is people leave it hours before telling of a sighting.i have been out driving and walking the area but nothing.

have texted owner regarding helping with postering etc and also to ask for a photo,noticed someone walking a young brindle lurcher in my area that i have not seen before.turned car round to go have another look but they had gone.
