- Sefton Council unfortunately use animalwardens as their contracted DW service. The council area based on previous given stats had one of the highest kill rates of strays in the U.K. and no longer openly give their stats for destruction to the annual Dogs Trust stray stats, they sell the dogs which aren’t claimed - their reputation in the local area is worse than Leigh Dogs and cats home IMO. Clearly I’m not a fan.
