Busy morning with Poochpal postering for Snipe.. Put posters up in Garage in Montague, Stoke Sub Hamden, Ham Hill pub and Rangers office, Bower Hinton Stores in Martock, Village Hall, Tintinhull and Asda Yeovil. Fingers crossed this will bring calls.

Good news on Tanner the whippet from lambourn so hope it helps you feel there is hope. Lambourn is having an open day this Easter w/e and are advertising missing dogs and getting the word out there. just seen the ad!, we are most grateful for all your suport, and a special THANKS to the team at dogs lost!, still no news, but we live in hope!, on another genral subject, what are the thought of chipping a pet?, when the only time it would be read is at the vets, or, IF your local police have a scanner?, ours hasnt!

further to my last mail, we are asuming that snipe is no longer :lost: but may be in the :ownership: of another person!, so could we ask if the search could extend to reporting of dogs that look like snipe!, we do hope this request dosnt upset anyone, but we all know the world we live in, just look how many dogs :dissapear:.

Thats good news Polecat, nice work with the posters too. Have you alerted the national Trust staff as I am sure the Wardens will be very helpful to you. recived a call today from a lady who lives in stourhead, she reported seeing a terrier wandering around the car park to the gardens, we have taken another load of posters out for display!, fingers crossed! come home SNIPE!!! we miss you!!!

Polecat the power of the poster cannot be underestimated!! Please print off 100's of copies of Snipe's poster from this page and poster far and wide ~literally 100's of them everywhere you can think of! As he is not chipped or tagged you will need to rely on physical descripton, so posters of Snipe to highlight his disappearance are imperative. Perhaps you could lis the places you have informed (i.e vets and rescues etc) here so that we can avoid duplication. Fingers crossed he will be found soon x

I have a friend who lives on Mere Down and walks her dogs at least twice a day on the downs. I know there are lots of badger sets there, lets hope he has'nt gone down one. I'll be talking to her later today.

Polecat are you Snipe's owner?? We have several lost terriers and other small dogs across Witshire and Glos at the moment, so please take some time to read through the various posts for each dog. This will be time consuming, but you will gather a lot of info and contacts from these posts. Please make contact with the owners (particularly Whizz's mum, patterdale as she is very active and is local(ish) to you) and work together with them.
