- There has been a possible sighting of Bertie this morning owner is aware not far from where he went missing. Asking people to stay away from the area to give owner and her team some space. Too many people going to the area will frighten Bertie or the sighted dog away. If you are are walking and see this dog please do not chase or call just ignore and ring number above with location. Labradors / Retrievers Lost & Found UK
29 November at 18:40
Hey guys.
I live in Pirbright and there has been many sightings of this little one. I think she or he is a lab x.
I last seen her at 0830 yesterday morning. I tried to get her but she ran into the woods so at 0930 yesterday me and two ladies went out into woods, middle of winds rain and no sight until 1350 with a 1 year old shouting woof. He or she has been out for a solid 48+ hours now.
Could of travelled along canal from Aldershot.
GU24. Last time I seen she he headed down Queens Road.
Council won't send dog warden and dog warden won't come unless council send him unless someone has s/he in their possession. Which is very difficult. All I wanted from them was to check their lost dog register but they wouldn't :-(.
I'm super worried as she he has been eating out of bins super hungry and thin. She he is a pet as you can see a collar which is dark green.
I'm starting to believe may be a elderly owner as I have contacted locals and nobody knows the owner :-( I really hope there is someone looking for she he 💖
Thanks for taking your time to read.
Let a find this baby's family, someone has to be looking for she/he. - 2018-11-05 13:02 sheltielover
- Any further sightings of Bertie please.

- We will follow this up but we do believe that this is not Bertie but are aware of this dog and believe it is a labradoodle.

- Just had this message posted on our Bertie post - Hi. Dont know for sure but held in a queue of traffic as dog was in the road. Was a about 25m away but did look like a golden retriever, dark coat (more dirty). This was on the road between Lindford and Liphook. He disappeared into the woodland to the right of the 'whitely' pub (now boarded up). We did stop and go looking on the off chance but didnt see him.

- All the best in finding Bertie, I watch for him when I am in this area.

- Great news, more sightings :)
From owner: Just to update, Bertie has been sighted in the past few days at Hindhead, Bramshott, Beacon Hill areas. We know he also comes to Hammer and Haslemere . Some who have seen him close up say that whilst he is thinner he looks very healthy and is still incredibly strong as he is running very fast from place to place.
The dog sighted in and around Bordon is NOT Bertie but possibly a golden Lurcher.
Please keep your eyes constantly peeled. Please call me ASAP if you think you’ve seen him and remember not to chase, call or stare.
Thank you everyone for your kindness and support, it is so very much appreciated.
I should be grateful if you could share this post. - 2018-05-20 23:54 SandyW

- There are quite a few comments on Nextdoor - one of which is --I saw a lone retriever in the woods in Whitmore Vale yesterday...I was driving but couldn't see the owner - posted yesterday.

- Angiemac - Bertie was not wearing a harness.
Yogi is now tired after 9 hours of non stop tracking today - well done Liz for keeping up!
We followed up a sighting of a bedraggled retriever running down the Midhurst Road but Yogi said no and after contacting local vets we learnt that it was another dog that was handed in to the vet and reunited. - 2018-03-26 01:05 Angiemac
- Just to update on the sighting at Chobham, I have requested a postcode or definate area from the person who left the message - have got to log off now but the post on my fb is open if you wanted to contact the person Direct.

- I have just had a comment on my fb that a dog looking like Bertie was seen in woods in Chobham (wearing a harness) I realise this is miles away from BRAMSHOTT but thought I'd better post anyway
- 2018-03-24 09:52 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- The owner has got a good team of friends and family that Bertie knows who are working round the clock and everything is being done that should be done to find Bertie.
We are following up on any possible leads.
If need be I will go and track.
