- Could she have followed a child to school? Lots of cats do this (mine did when I was young) and end up in the school somewhere, possibly shut in over the weekend. You could contact the school to put up posters when the children return, in case someone remembers something. A pure white cat in tow is something you couldn't really forget! I would also poster thickly along the route from your house to the school, she may have started to follow and then stopped along the way... someone may well have seen her in their garden.

- Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Maybe as it has been a few days, you could call all the local delivery agents that you normally see around and ask if they had a delivery in your road that day. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went each day. A local cat got into a van and jumped out at a care home a couple of miles away after medications were delivered there. A friend noticed a poster on their gates and told the cat's owners. He had been regularly fed by the care home people and they were actively looking for his family. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you

- When checking outbuildings, also check empty houses, and cellars too. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in, or behind objects within, especially if timid, even though their owners may be present.
Depending on how long you kept her indoors for, when you moved. Two week is usually recommended by Cat Protection at least. Put some tuna or warm chicken in her dish, and call her night/early morning is best, Rattle some treats to. Put her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding her thinking she is a stray, and has taken her in. This can happen. Put some tuna or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some Dreamies too. Poster in both areas, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around especially those with children as they can be very observant. When it is nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Also wear the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis as she will recognize the scent. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Hope Gates is home soon.
