Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Maybe as it has been a few days, you could call all the local delivery agents that you normally see around and ask if they had a delivery in your road that day. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went each day. A local cat got into a van and jumped out at a care home a couple of miles away after medications were delivered there. A friend noticed a poster on their gates and told the cat's owners. He had been regularly fed by the care home people and they were actively looking for his family. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you

Oh Saz 76. Did you know that many cats go awol not long before they are due to be neutered? Cats are believed to have s sixth sense. My own cat always seems to know when someone is coming to the door, even though we aren`t expecting anyone. She sits on the window sill, and makes a funny noise about twenty minutes before someone arrives. A cat I used to have, always knew when it was a day for her boosters, although she was such a well behaved cat. Never minded anything at the vets; a real trooper, is what the vet used to call her. (Sadly no longer with us due to old age) And yet she would hide under the table, even though we were quite relaxed, and hadn`t even put our coats on, and her carrier was in the garage. Experts now believe that it is because they have a small tube in the roof of their mouths called a Jacobson`s organ which enables the cat to breathe in air, and "Feel" "Touch" and pick up sensations, which human`s can`t. So who knows! Clever little devils aren`t they?:-)

As he isn`t neutered. may have gone seeking a mates, and sometimes they will go further afield looking for a mate if this is the case. Also they will stop away for a few days. When he is found., I would have him neutered asap, as then on average they trend to stay more "Homebound" If on a low income, you can get your cat neutereds or just £5 via a voucher from Cat Protection. Sometimes they will include a microchip. Always best to have cats "Snipped, and chipped"Last edited: 2018-03-18 13:02:03

Presume neutered? Please try tips/advice on Oreo`s page no 126747. All worth a try. It is very common for cats to get themselves "Adopted" where there is food available. Hope Casey is home very soon. Paws, and fingers xd

Sorry to see that CASEY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (126760)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
