- You could borrow a cat trap from a rescue centre or Cat Protection. I think you pay a small donation. First i would put Levi`s scent in the trap, along with your scent too: his UNWASHED blanket maybe. I would`nt put in any treats at this stage because of the other cat, or you could set the trap, and place inside some treats, but nothing with your cat`s scent on. The food should attract the dominant cat, and if this works let the dominant cat out of the trap , and hopefully he may keep out of the way, scared of being trapped again. And possibly Levi will enter the trap. It may workLast edited: 2018-03-21 20:34:11

- So today we have had a sighting of little Levi,in the field behind our house.A neighbour has said he saw him at 10.20pm last night trying to get some food at the end of his garden. The kids are going to field soon to try and get his attention. We fear it may be the large aggressive male cat scaring him off.Heres hoping xxx

- Is there a dominant cat in the area? Sometimes they will chase a ct out of it`s own territory, however the cat usually returns within a few days, when they think it`s "Safe" for them to do so. Paws xd.

- Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in. or behind objects within, even though their owners may be present, Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put some tuna or warm chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing lien if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him, especially as he is so friendly. When it is nightfall, and your are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant. Hope Levi is home soon. Paws xd.
