My deepest sympathy goes out to you on hearing this sad news. Poor little Sponge. But at least, you know what happened to her and you were reunited, even though in such sad circumstance. Run free dear little Sponge over that beautiful bridge.. Very best wishes Peaches x

By the edge of a wood at the foot of the hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still, Where friends of a man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done, For here between this world and the next , Is a place where each beloved creature find's rest ! On this golden land they wait and play till Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer in pain or sadness for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness!!!! Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled !!!! They run through the grass without even a care, untill one day they Stop and sniff the air !!! All ears pricked forward, eyes dart side to side, Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack ! For just that instant their eyes have met Together again person and pet, So they run to each other these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last !! The sadness they felt whilie they were apart has turned into Joy once more in each heart, They embrace with a love that will last forever and side by side they cross over together !! Sorry Sponge is missing, please poster as much as you can this is really important, please print of 100's and plaster your area Shops, Pubs, Vets Pet shops etc, Dog Warden's not just your local as you are on the border on many County's Wilts, Glos, Berks,Oxon (if you need no's please ask) Pounds and Rescues not once but several times as they have many dogs coming in on a daily basis and some do not check for chips. Leaflet your neigbours and speak to dog walkers and ask at any camps that may be in the area Sponge went missing.

I've emailed posters to Chiltern Dog Rescue, Banbury Animal Rescue and Blue Cross at Burford. My emails to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue keeping failing, so would suggest you ring them on 01494 482695. Would also suggest you ring all your local vets and perhaps some further out incase she's been picked up. You can do a search on Google for local vet and rescue centre details in any area of your choice. Home Sponge is home soon xx

No sightings of her at all yet. We have distributed posters liberally in the local area, informed the local police and dogwarden, local vets and kennels. Our hunt have sent her details out to their email list. We have walked the nearby fields extensively but we are in the middle of the countryside so she could have gone in one of many directions. Any furthur suggestions welcome.
