- Hello, still no news or contact from the foster carer.
Yes, I have contacted the police...I am waiting for his crime number before his case can be esculated from lost to STOLEN. Opie's microchip company has a record of the foster carers address as he'd tried to change Opie's ownership without permission, this has also been forwarded to the police.
I really hoped I wouldn't have to go down the route of contacting the police but sadly I've been left with no choice.
The phone number listed as contact number is Opie's microchipp companies number so that anyone who has or knows who as Opie can have him returned anonymously.Last edited: 2018-05-09 15:29:20 by JennC - 2018-04-30 15:26 Unknown

- Hi everyone,
Sadly all attempts to speak to the temp foster family (asking exact location where he went missing) have been ignored.
I will be escalating Opie's report from missing to STOLEN on Monday. I hope that Opie is home or we've at least been contacted to make arrangements to collect him before it comes to that though.
We all miss him so much, our 4 children are devastated that he's not home yet (they don't know the situation he is in but keep asking for him). The kids are only 9, 7, 4 and 3 years old, they don't deserve this! - 2018-03-31 00:16 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

- JennC - I couldn't find any vets in IV25 postal area but if you do a google search for Embo, three nearby vets come up Rogart Vets in IV28, Easter Ross Vets in IV19 and Johnston & Farrell in IV19. Hope this helps.

- Is anyone able to post a full list of Vets in the IV25 postal area for me, please? I'd like to send them all Opie's poster in the hope of finding him. Sadly I haven't been given the exact postcode still. We'd been talking recently of finally being able to bring Opie back home from the Foster Family so the kids have been so excited...hopefully I can give them some good news soon.

- From my share to Embo Sights FB group: "This looks very much like the dog we saw last night in embo village, if it is him he was at the bottom end of king street and ran through the alley between the houses towards gate street, this was at about half 8ish. We managed to give him a little stroke but he seemed quite scared and ran off"

- Hi everyone, thanks so much for your help. I was not with him when he went missing (he's with temp Foster as I am waiting to be housed) and I am waiting for the postcode of area he was in to be sent to me.

- Sorry to see that OPIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (127148)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
