- Very sorry to hear about the loss of Loki xx

- Oh no! I am so sorry, to hear about Loki. It`s a horrible time when we lose a pet. I do know how you feel because my own cat died not long ago (Old age) At least you have closure, and can lay Loki to rest. Nightie, night Loki, sleep tight, and have fun with the other "Rainbow babies" who are waiting to play. RIP+ God Bless A~~~Candle~~~burns for Loki. Run free (HUG) x
Cat protection have a Wall of Memory where you can pay tribute to your deceased pet. It may help you grieve a little My own cat is on there (Or may be a memory box) I hope your circumstances improve soon. God Bless x
One day you will meet Loki at the bridge, and he will show you the way. Forever together. Now with the Angels surrounded by love.Last edited: 2018-03-30 13:08:01 - 2018-03-30 12:10 nalamissing

- Do you have a friend who can post on social media or does your ex know the cat and may recognise it? Suggest posts don't mention lokis name

- Please try and stay positive, most cats come back. Going out in the early hours is good thing as there is less background noise if he has just got out of his area. Put up lots of posters, and knock on all your neighbour's doors.Last edited: 2018-03-29 21:17:51 by nalamissing

- I’m not coping very well with it tonight :( I keep crying. I’m waiting until early hours then I’m going out to look for him.
So tough because I can’t share it openly on my own social media accounts due to possibility of ex being informed. :( - 2018-03-29 20:48 Unknown
- I do feel for you, and your situation. The chances are your ex does`nt know about Doglost. Loki may still be in the area
Cats that aren`t neutered don`t wander off all the time. Paws xd he is home soon. If a friendly cat someone may be feeding him locally.

- Nikki - sorry about your situation ... is it possible that Loki may have gone back to your old address as cats often do this.

- Hi Janie - I want him neutered and if I’m lucky enough to get him back he will go straight in for it. My situation is more than complex in that we’ve fled DV and my priority (rightly or wrongly) this past 12 months of hell we’ve endured has been keeping my family safe and hidden. Ironically now - this campaign to find my cat is putting me at risk and exposing our location 😢 hope the ex doesn’t cotton on!

- Your cat of course, but neutering stops cats spraying on the furniture, fighting with other cats, which cause serious injury, straying too far from home, and Feline Aids, and of course unwanted kittens. You can get neutering done for as little as five pounds, and sometimes free depending on your circumstances. Your decisionLast edited: 2018-03-29 16:25:21

- As Loki isn`t neutered, he may have gone seeking mate, and they can go quite a distance to search. Even so check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid, even though their owner may be present. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot,or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too.. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with bis scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Hope Lokie is home soon. Paws xd.
