Great news that Midge is home & highlights why NOT TO let your dog race up to another even if you know your dog is friendly. Pleased he is home safe.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news Midge is HOME. Email from owner. Midge wandered home of his own accord in the middle of the night and woke his owner up barking to be let in just after 1.00 a.m. Thanks mum for letting us know..... Clever boy Midge and welcome home you little tinker. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

mjervis, brilliant that you have had sightings of Midge. I've emailed you the SCENTING & MAPPING instructions, take your time to read them. There are other dogs pages (now reunited) that you can look at to get some good advice on what to do if you see Midge. Rambo GSD WF4, Fable GSD CM12 and Ted BC CV6. Good luck and hope to see Midge in the blue soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

just another thought ..........owner have you checked that your contact details held by the chipping company are up to date and also have you notified them that Midge is missing ? Pam xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It is good that Midge is tagged and chipped. Owners need to poster as much as they can check DAILY with their local pound and notify vets etc Even though Midge is chipped do not leave it to pounds to contact you !!! Come home Midge and stay safe until you are found xxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It wasn't him. It was a little yorkie type thing. Same black hair and white chest, but way too small. Very yappy. Wouldn't come near me (tried to see if it was lost...) but then it ran off and into a house, so I guess it wasn't lost.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's not him on pups and mutts, but thanks for keeping an eye out online. just had a sighting. Neigbour saw him sniffing round some bushes not far from home near a small pet shop. Ran up and no sign. I'm off for a more extensive look fully equipped with torch, treats and posters.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pups and mutts page - west riding strays has a black dog No. - M9 - bit of long shot as it's not a clear picture - just a head shot and but the ears are similar. Link is http://www.pupsandmutsdogrescue.co.uk/page_1196643481562.htmlLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
