have just had response from owner - Hello Sian, Doug was recovered from the dog's home last nght. May I thank you for the fantastic job you do. If it was up to me you (Jayne) would be made a Dame in the New Years Honours List. Thank you and god bless. Terry Jones

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
