Sophie Atlas: The Washpool is at the bottom of the hill just after you leave Chad on the Chipping Norton road towards the campsite/ Chippy. I was coming back in to the village from chippy, before the 30 sign, he came out of the small road on the left in to the main road and over to the barn buildings on the right of the road.

Sophie Atlas: I saw him this morning by the farm near washpool about 10am, I did stop but he wouldn’t come anywhere near me.

Thanks Karen. I’ve spoken to owner, he’s currently out looking before dark. Chipping Norton is local to me. Otis ran off this morning on the scent of deer, usually he comes back but this time he didn’t... I’ll start spreading the word. I’m currently on holiday on Exmoor with no internet but will do what I can x
