- Simon H - hate to break it to you - but you are mistaken.
CHIPS CAN BE TAMPERED WITH.
And it's time to stop telling the public they can't.
When results of the 4 Paws investigation is
made public later this year - you will see how wrong you all were.
And it's rather naive of you to think, in this day & age, that it can't be done.
As long as people, like yourself, refuse to accept that criminals are capable of using & manipulating today's technology to their advantage - the dog thieves will continue to be one step ahead of us - laughing all the way to the bank.
As for the bent Vet? Do you really think he was working alone with the puppy farmers?
There are 9 Vets presently under investigation as a direct result of that
prosecution alone. Not to mention the 19 unqualified Vet reception staff
that were fired (7 of them being E.European).
It's foolish to assume that ALL Vets & their staff are kosher -
as foolish as believing that ALL those involved in Dog Rescue are
genuine animal lovers.
The sad truth is that there are 'rats' in ALL walks of life - and pretending
they don't exist just makes it easier for them to HIDE IN PLAIN SITE.
Have you never heard of bent Doctors?
Shipman?
Bent nurses? Beverly Allet
Bent nursery staff?
Not so holy catholic priests?
They are EVERYWHERE!!
We will never win the battle against the dog thieves if we refuse to accept that they have 'planted' their 'rats' within dog rescue circles.
It's not rocket science!!
Dog thieves & puppy farmers would not be anywhere near as successful if they didn't have
INSIDE HELP!!!
Don't misunderstand me - the kosher people working in dog rescue circles are Saints & Angels - pure gold - every last one of 'em.
But what chance do they stand in the war against dog thieves if they are given false information like
"Chips can't be tampered with".

- You can’t tamper with a microchip. A lot of Romanian microchips fail and so quite a few dogs have another chip planted and the dogs passports show both chip numbers. The raid on 4 paws was nothing to do with tampered microchips. The vet guilty of falsifying vac documentation was working with puppy farmed Animals - again nothing to do with microchips.

- NickyB and Sydneysmum... This chip was registered in Romania but NOT in uk. It has not been tampered with as it was by the number i tracked the details held in Romania.
As my message on 14th i have details of the owner and they are trying to make contact with this registered owner. The phone number is not connecting despite many attempts. Maybe this person is now in the uk but as they have not registered it in UK it will be almost impossible to track them.
I have tried a search in facebook to see if on there.. but again no luck. - 2018-04-15 19:25 Sydneysmum
- NickyB - I've been saying for 2 years that 'someone' is tampering with the microchips.
But everyone scoffed at the idea - I was told "that's not possible".
Well recent events at 4 Paws has opened everyone's eyes now - and the Vet convicted of signing false 'clean' health certificates on hundreds of dogs including rescued animals from abroad. This Vet didn't even treat them - Many died!
And this Vet readily admitted that he had
chipped stolen dogs (after removing their original chip) - he double chipped many dogs with 'hooky' chips & false details.
And that Vet is just the FIRST to be caught & exposed. I guarantee there will be more in the future.

- My Rommie has two chips one registered and one not. We only found this when I took him to vets for his injections.
Maybe this one has another chip. - 2018-04-14 11:35 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator

- how does a chip implanted not be recorded? dont understand how many found dogs either like this little darling are chipped but not recorded, or are chipped and details out of date.
