- AMAZING SULTAN HAS BEEN CAUGHT AND IS SAFE.
CAUGHT BY THE OWNERS NEIGHBOUR WHO WAS WALKING THEIR DOG IN A NEAR BY PARK.
THE BOY IS SLEEPING SAFE IN HIS NEW HOME TONIGHT.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. - 2018-04-15 22:19 Unknown
- Initially, no sign of Sultan but then the trapper arrived and reported seeing him nearby on the road and struggling to get over a wall. She observed he was looking very tired, which whilst distressing, at least means he won’t have a lot of energy to run. The kennel owner on whose land he seems to be staying, together with owner and trapper, have set up a covered crate with newly cooked food inside to try and get him to see that as a safe space. Hopefully, he will keep returning to it and then it will be replaced by a trap. It’s frustratingly slow but through necessity rather than lack of effort. The new owner thought she saw him watching them as they left the site so hopefully he will eat and rest-thank goodness the weather is on their side this week. Will update when we have more news.

- Just to update you all regarding Sultan the rescue dog recently arrived in Uk from the pound in Spain . Sultan has been seen several times not far from where he went missing and an experienced trapper is now involved so that he can be recaptured with the minimum amount of stress. His new owner has been walking the dog Sultan travelled with up and down the route to her garden and he has been picking up the scent of that dog and remaining nearby. He is now in the area of the kennels of a friend of the owner and they are going to try and lure him into a pen.....possibly using his companion dog as a lure. Obviously a calm, quiet approach has been essential and it seems to be paying off-it’s vital not to scare him off. Please keep everything crossed that he is back on a warm bed and beginning his new life of love tonight and learning to trust again.....

I have also asked my dog walking friends to keep a look out for Sultan explaining what not to do. Let's hope for good news
