Owners, we need a photo urgently to enable us to get posters sent out, especially as Totty has no Id and if found, can be rehomed after 7 days!!

I was at Thornden Woods today walking my dogs and saw a large black dog in the distance and assumed it was the Schnauzer from the bungalow at the beginning of the long track( New Road?) so took a side path to avoid it. The dog I saw was near the "pond" on the main track through to Herne and went off into the woods behind the pond. This was at some time around 12:15 - 12:30 today. I walk my dogs there most days so will keep an eye open.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
