Thanks Micky for the update - For those of you who don't do facebook, here are owner's comments "Exciting news, news I’ve been praying for, for weeks. I’ve just got back home to see this sight on my drive. Thank you to who ever has returned Herbena safe and sound, up to now anyway. I could not believe my eyes and shouted “oh my God” so loudly my neighbours came running out to see what had happened. She’s just about to get into a warm bath now, and just hope she survives whatever ordeal she has been through. Returned while my car was out of the drive and my neighbours. Whoever you are, I don’t care I’m just glad to get her back. Thank you to everyone who has made her to hot to handle. I can’t name everyone individually but I’ve met some amazing people on this journey. Happy tears now, please share with as many people as you can." - welcome home Herbena xLast edited: 2018-05-05 17:08:42 by Sandra Watt

Give posters to schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school fund. Put as many posters in cars as possible to widen the search area

Also post a STOLEN ad in a National newspaper, and maybe a radio, and TV appeal.

If you have the tortoise, then please do the right thing, and return it. It`s someones loving pet. And remember Karma! THANK YOU

It might sound silly, but, as I used to have a tortoise (for 45 years), I'm just wondering if it is possible the tortoise woke up as the temperatures rose and left her kennel and is somewhere in the garage hidden away? Sometimes, we lost ours for ages in the garden and he was just a short way away from when last seen but hidden.

I saw this on Facebook yesterday and have already shared. But will share again. Hope the tortoise is returned to its rightful owner. There are some horrible nasty people out there.
