Carl, Claire & Wayne, thanks for the update and the lovely reunion photo, we love to see these piccies. Great that you are now going to stay on DL as helpers, this is how DL works, everyone looking out for each other. It is great when owners of missing and reunited dogs give advice as you have all been there and know what it is like to lose and hopefully find your beloved ones. Give Casey an extra big hug and kiss from all on DL. Way to go Casey you look better in the blue with your family. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oops, I will continue. In my excitement, I managed to press the Submit button before I had finished! As I was saying... I am so pleased to hear that Casey is back home with her family. I just loved her 'Missing' photo - what a lovely cheerful, smiley face she has. And to hear the news that she is now reunited with her worried family has brought a smile to my own face. Thanks for sending the reunited piccie for all to see. It was good to hear that this lovely girl was chipped but could she have a nice, new, shiney ID tag on her collar as a welcome home present?!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner should contact PetMedics on Wardley Busines Park, Swinton. Tel: 0161-794 4999. They collect strays on behalf of Greater Manchester Police and RSPCA outside normal Dog Warden working hours. Owner should also visit Leigh Cats and Dogs Home, they are contracted by Salford (Swinton) Council to board all strays in the area for 7 days. Do not rely on telephone enquiries visit in person. I will check our records at work tonight when I'm back on duty. Also contact Salford City Dog Warden Service, Turnpike House, 631 Eccles New Road, Salford, M5 2SH. Tel: 0161-909 6500. Good Luck and never give up searching.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

floyd, thanks for registering and posting on Casey's page. Everyone on DL will do their best to help reunite Casey with her owners. Great that Casey is chipped, hopefully someone has taken her in and you will get good news when the DW's are back in work. I've put a link on for vet's in the area to contact and also rescues. Good luck and hope to see her in the blue soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
