FANTASTIC news !! What does concern me is that Ellie is chipped and that when the finders reported finding her to the authorities not only did they fail to make a match with a report of her being lost but presumably ALSO FAILED to advise the finders to get her checked for a chip ! Well done to the person that mathced her to the poster. Welcome home and stay safe from now on Eliie xxx

Hi just a short thank you for all your helpful tips on how to help find Ellie, It was the poster at our local Vet that actually traced Ellie to a kind family who had found and looked after her.She is now back home safe and well and lively as ever.I would also like to thank everyone who visited Ellie's site and left kind words of encouragement .THANKS AGAIN CHRIS AND FAMILY...e mail from owners.

JUST AS WELL JAYNE YOU DID START THIS SIGHT, BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE A LOT MORE OWNERS OUT THERE STILL WITHOUT THEIR DOGS, ONE DAY THEY JUST MAY START A NATIONAL DATER BASE FOR LOST DOGS AND HAVE SOMEONE TO MAN IT CONTINUALLY, BECAUSE DOG THEFT GOES HAND IN HAND WITH A LOT OF OTHER CRIMES. WELCOME HOME ELLIE WELL DONE THE FINDER AND POSTER POWER AGAIN, I HOPE YOU GET A TAG TO GO WITH YOUR CHIP.

Ellie is home. Poster power again! A neighbour of the finder saw a poster in their vets and let owner know. The finders had phoned the same authorities and police as the owner and yet again no one connected. This particulary gets to me because 5 years ago my dog suffered at the hands of the same area not connecting-thats why doglost was started and 5 years on it is still happening.

hi im the onwer of a missing dog myself so i understand what you are going though im also a moblie dog groomer and cover your area so ill let all my customer know and to keep a look out +my brother lives on the new estate ill tell them to look out and to pass the word in at school have you postered school gates es children notice things +have a good memory i got lots off call from people who had seen posters they really work if they get taken down just keep putting them back up good luck keep ringing +going up to pound kennels mount pleasant /cliffe
