What wonderful news !!! So sorry though to read the ordeal this poor girl has been through but hopefully now she is back with her owners the love and care she will get from them will soon help her recover. Well done to the police involved ! welcome home Gypsy and stay safe from now on xxx

What a terrible ordeal your little girl has gone through. It's absolutely wonderful that she's now home. When she's well enough we'd love to see a lovely reunited photo of her!!

Hi Guys, I looked to post on here over the weekend but my bookmark didnt work ! So happy this site is still here though :) After months of trudging the streets with pictures posters etc we heard that a not very nice person had Gypsy and he'd mated her and she was pregnant grr - anyway after some more detective work we got a name and an address - i called the police who at first didnt seem to offer us much hope other than a long drawn out sending solicitors letters etc - anyway after a while i think they saw how upset i was and said leave it with us ( they'd heard of the person apparently had been arrested numerous times) - the next call i got was from a police radio saying we have gypsy and are trying to get her into a basket to bring her home she's had a c section and has lost the puppies - after 30 mins they arrived with no gyspy I cant tell you how upset i was they said she couldnt be moved just yet - but they'd check tomorrow, well i have never put a night in like it paced the floor couldnt eat could sleep so paced the floor some more lol - anyway next day the police van pulled up and i was watching out of the window screamed to hubby here she is !! but policeman came straight to door i said ooooh noooo what now !! he said would you like to come to the back of the van and there she was :)))))))))))))))))))))  if i had one bit of advice to give anyone that has lost a dog it would be Never stop looking !! ps i would really like to thank everyone that helped and posted and well just cared :))

I was looking to rehome a dog and was offered a patterdale terrier from Low Fallowfield Farm in Hetton . I didn't see the dog but thought this might be worth a try .

Thanks Amber & Brynn's mum. I've spoken to one of Gypsy's owners it was the Sunderland DW who contacted them, it was not Gypsy. Have passed details on for the Selby DW and how to check some sites of dogs found by DW's. Owner's would like to pass on thanks and will update later. Jan x

's a lng shot but there's a black patterdale pup picked up by the selby dog warden and up for re-homing this week. Not sure if the pup's male or felmale but worth a call. Good luck.
