- Chippped to rescue who have reported details to chip company making sure that no changes are made to ownership without their authorisation.
This is more than an owner ship dispute as being fostered and they had first put the dog for sale then stated not their dog then lied was ill. The person was challenged by a vets when tried to register as her own as they has received details from our mailings. When heard this they took dog and swiftly left the vets!
Now it seems has allegedly been stolen from the foster person in North Hykeham.
I am dealing direct with a contact in our partnership with Lincolnshire police.
If any one is keeping this dog in order to help the foster person and you are aware of this - I would advise them to contact the rescue as now police involved you could possibly be charged with handling stolen goods.

- Ninja - I want to know this too before I do more sharing. If the dog is genuinely stolen the owner will have a crime report number. I don't want to find myself taking sides in some nasty rescue dispute.

- Is this dog actually missing or is this some sort of dispute between the rescue and fosterer?
Just last week the fosterer did a write up on the dog looking for a home even though he has only been with her for about 4 weeks.
