Hope all went well at the vets with Lily Pumpkinx
stukgeorge1986
Thank you everyone for looking out for Lily. She is home safe and sound now and is visiting the vets later for a check up. She seems in really good health, although she’s very tired after her adventures! Thank you again, I would’ve been lost without this site! Xxxx

Fantastic news. Am elated for you. someone has obviously feeding her. This is such a common problem. I would now keep Lily Pumpkin indoors for at least ten days, or she may go awol again. Stay very close now Pumpkin:-)xxx You need your meds. I don`t know why people feel the need to feed obviously owned cats, as this can be the consequence, and like Lily Pumpkin, may be on medication.Last edited: 2018-05-15 07:34:11

Good news! Owner updated LP's post last night:

UPDATE - Lily has been FOUND!!!!
She was located on Goodwood Close, Oakley Vale this evening by someone who contacted us after seeing her around the close. We went and helped search for her but she was found just after we started walking home and some of the kind residents drove me home with her. She is safe and seems very well. It looks like she has been eating or finding food and even still had her collar on! I will get her to the vets tomorrow for a proper check over but she is snuggled down now for a well earned rest. (And is also grounded for the foreseeable future!! Lol) Thank you to everyone for your help in looking for Lily and for your support. We are so relieved to have her home and absolutely amazed at how well she looks! Big hugs everyone. XxxxLast edited: 2018-05-15 05:49:47 by Liz Q

I would now put a LOST CAT ad in a Natiional newspaper, in case she has climbed into a vehicle. Apparently many cats do this. Paws xd.

Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, even though their owners may be present.
Empty contents of the hoover onot the garden as her scent will be there. Put some tuna or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into clean conainer, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in sheltered spot, or hng on the wshing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area, holding an oibject with her scent on,. and rattle some Dremies. Someone may be feeding her, especially as she is a friendly girl. (Common problem) When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant. When serching, tak with you an air freshener which you use regularly, as it should remind her of her home comforts. Hope Lily Pumpkin is home very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-05-01 21:07:48
