- Two very smelly and empty bins put out as per last night, and where he enjoyed a fish supper and some other delights. Right next to the bins, and with a sardine oil trail are two traps. They are baited with chicken and pigs heart.
The residents have been great with their help and asked not to try to touch or approach him, should we get lucky and the traps catch him.

- Fingers crossed, would one of the householders who's bin he raided agree to having a trap in their garden?

- Homer is still in the area where he went missing, He’s has been seen in a back garden and last night raided a number of food recycling bins. Seen at 11pm and is in the area where the traps are set.

- He was sighted at 6,15am but nothing since. Both people said he looked fine. Sadly he seems to be coming settled into his new feral lifestyle and we are now looking at trapping a what is a wild animal, not a domestic pet. We have three traps and three cameras and visit the area twice a day.

- Homer has been seen back in the area seen earlier in the week. Bumping due to fresh sighting. Please report any further sightings immediately to the numbers on his posters. If walking in the area please take a photo of one of posters on your phone, that way you will have the number to hand if he is spotted. Please don't chase or try to catch, watch to see which direction he goes.

- We have been a lot of the houses along his route and luckily as it is such a small village the news travels quite well.
What is starting to concern us is that he is actually doing too well and that the food is not a big enough draw for him. There are a lot of young rabbits about and they are so stupid I could almost go,up to them and hit them with a stick. He would not find it hard to get a bunny meal.
We can only keep trying. - 2018-05-10 09:07 Bobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
- Great that he has been seen this morning, frustrating that he seems to be getting sustenance elsewhere.
Maybe well worth calling in/dropping leaflets to any homes/farms in the area he is travelling, update them on the trap and ask about leaving food out for badgers etc? - 2018-05-10 07:42 Amanda
- Seen by walkers at 6.15 this morning just as we were arriving in the area. Checked that we had not caught any wildlife overnight and then came home. Will return at about 10am to check traps and cameras. He is travelling a fair distance and is limping a little but must be getting food to be this mobile after a week.

- We saw him last night and think we now know his line of travel. Trap was set but not activated and there is now food at the two gateways that he seems to prefer, and are not on the public footpaths.

- He was sighted by four people this morning all in the area where we were walking.

- I have spoken to the owner and established that Homer is a Spanish Griffon Aftur-Cantabro and that he resembles a small Spinone.
