- Glad that Elmo is safe now. Don't talk to me about the police in that area - we had exactly the same problem - Dad's dog sent all the way to Battersea over Xmas with everybody thinking the poor dog was gone for ever because the police didn't put two and two together - sorry! - good luck Elmo xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This was the little (he he) darling that was rescued playing with traffic on the A13 and that I had a war with the Police over. Cut a long one short, and thanks to Brian at B&D, he was taken to Battersea (couldn't find a foster local cos he was a big ole boy) and we eventually found the owner ourselves (even though he had been reported lost to the same Police we had reported him found) - don't even go there, who has now collected Elmo. Originally we were told that the owner was found deceased and that Elmo (as we called him) had escaped when the Police kicked the door in. This wasn't right and the deceased mans dog has now been found and taken to Battersea too. Lovely short haired GSD if anyone is interested in rehoming. Thanks for all your help to Jack (Guardian Angel to all the local dogs) and to Nicki at Battersea (once again). Stay safe darling Elmo.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
