- Check behind hedges/bushes in case he is feeling unwell. Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars. ALWAYS take FURTHER LOOKS, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object wihtin. especially if timid. Put some tuna or warn chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent on. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Try a squeky toy as it may atract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with chidlren as thy can be very observant. When searching, wear the same deodorant, as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Paws xd he is home very soon.
