Brilliant news that Austin is now safely reunited with his owners. Well done to the lady for taking the time to contact his owners and look after him. This proves how important it is to go out of the area when searching and postering. Give Austin a big hug and cuddle from everyone on DL. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Email from owner, Our tan and white terrier wearing a green tagged collar who was lost/missing from The New Forest has been FOUND over 50 miles away at Thatcham in Berkshire. He had been missing for 8 days 15 hours. He was running in a road, a lady stopped her car he jumped in (he is very friendly and much loved) He was and is still wearing his tagged collar. She rang my daughter and she drove up straight away (It took over an hour and a half) He is thin but he had been bathed !! Thank you for any help that you might have been giving.
