- Other Info Hendricks and myself moved home, beginning of April. We kept him inside for 2 weeks and then he was out exploring mainly the Garden and was coming home. He seemed settled enough. He is very timid and is quite shy with other people and easily scared at times. Really worried as it has now been 5 days and not a thing.

- This is fantastic news. So pleased Hendricks is home. Probably was shut in somewhere. Cats are very inquisitive aren`t they? Stay close now Hendricks.:-)xxx Keep on enjoying those cuddles Hendricks. He may be a little clingy now for a short while.

- Hi all
Hendricks came home this morning ... little bugger! Now sulking as he is staying in for the day hehe he’s lost quite a bit of weight but other than that he seems okah I can only think he got locked in somewhere.
Thank you all for your advice and tips!
Our fury friends do make us worry! We’ve had lots of cuddles and he is purring :)

- Cats can usually survive without food for quite a while. They tend to lick on suitable things to keep themselves hydrated.

dont know of many cats in our estate but all i can think is he has got spooked out maybe? Just worried with the warm weather and him not potentially eating :( - 2018-05-11 15:43 Unknown
- Is thre a dominant cat in the area?, As sometimes they will chase a cat out if it`s own territory, however the cat usually the cat returns within a few days, if they think it is "Safe" enough for them to do so. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case he has climbed into a vehicle, apparently this isn`t uncommon for cats to do.. Hope Hendricks is home very soon. Paws xd.

- Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars. ALWAYS take FURTHER LOOKS as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden, as his scent will be there. Put some tuna or warm chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a shelterd spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem). When it is nightfall, and you are serarching, use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Paws x.
