Khiza is back home and settling in well, he has a new lady in his life, Kavi is 10 weeks old and keeps him busy. Khiza is still eating only rice and tuna, seems like he has gone off Pedegree chum. He is getting back to his old destructive ways but I dont mind anymore as long as he is happy. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ive just realise, perhaps I am someone from Doglost too! I check these boards everyday to check to see if we have anything matching lost dogs that we have here....so I guess I could class myself as "Doglost" as well as "Battersea"!! The RSPCA contact us with any strays that are handed in, along with other vets and all London Police Stations.xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, it wasnt someone from doglost, but Battersea Dogs Home that originally took the call from RSPCA and contacted owner! As we had no found location for the dog due to M25 not being on our system(!) it wasnt linked to his lost report, but these two had stuck in my mind so I called him to let him now a shar-pei had been found but couldnt say where it had originally come from!! Clearly, my instincts were right (yay, 2nd one this week!), am so glad one of them at least is now home! (Owner, please contact us so we can close down Khizas lost report).xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to Krishy and Khiza is still at the RSPCA centre. Khiza was have some breathing difficulties and could possibly have taken a knock from a car. He is having some X-rays done and they'll be calling owner later to let him know how it went. Krishy has been down to see Khiza, who he said seems fine in himself other than being a little stressed at being in the vets crates.....but who wouldn't! Sending get well wishes to Khiza from all at Doglost. Urged owner to get Khiza microchipped as well, which he said he would do so thats good news. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Khiza is home!! lovely motorway patrol man found him at jct 28 of the m25 (yikes!) and took him in his van to the RSPCA in Holloway. Here is where the plot thickens - according to owner, someone from doglost.co.uk called him to inform him they had had a call from the RSPCA stating KHiza was in their care. Now, Khiza does not have a chip so this means the only way RSPCA were aware of a missing sharpei was because someone had informed them! when the sharpei turned up, they knew immediately who to contact, contacted mystery doglost.co.uk helper who, in turn, contacted owner. Khiza is now home and owner has taken tomorrow off to continue posters for Marzi! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marzi and Khiza escaped from their house in Sheffield Drive. They were seen in 'Duck Wood' which is a fairly small area of forest but it interconnects to larger areas - Maylands Golf and Country Club and Dagnam Park so they could have travelled further afield that way. Owner has contacted local Police, RSPCA, Battersea, Council, Gemini Kennels. He is going to call around the local vets and also try the kennels that often take B&D strays as well as postering the area. Photos will be on their way to admin shortly so once they're on the posters, any local help with postering in the area will be much appreciated. Romford/Dagenham dogs are certainly keeping all you great helpers busy......no more go missing please, and all get yourselves home!! Stay safe Marzi and Khiza. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
