- Sorry if this sounds a bit vague. At my agility club last night my trainer said she was told by someone she trains with at another club (where a poster was put up) that they have heard of a dog matching Ears' description that has recently been bought. It is being checked out tonight I hope. It is probably coincidence but is being looked in to. Don't want to raise your hopes too much Earz but I did want you to know we are still looking for you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Postered in Basingstoke today - mostly around Top of Town and gave flyers out to the stall holders - I think there's a Farmers Market there tomorrow (might be wrong) - Festival Place was heaving but got a lot of posters up only to have them taken down again but I did notice alot of teenagers looking at them before they were removed so hopefully got a bit of attention. Owner please call me if you would like me to do anything specific.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I will be in Basingstoke on Sat pm and will poster around the Top of Town, the Malls and the entrance doors to Festival Place though how long it will be before they are removed is anyone's guess. I have told the vet at Pets at Home Kempshott (whose a friend) - there's a car boot sale on Sundays at Hill Valley Nurseries near Alton, does any one know when Blackbush Sunday market is on? (obviously it's on Sundays but is it every Sunday?) Might be worth a try there, it's huge. The Gazette were very helpful doing a peice when Maggie vanished, the Chronicle might not hit the market you are aiming at though, try the Free-ads though. Basingstoke DW will know all about travellers sites and give you contacts for liason officers, Laura is wonderful and very helpful. Please call me on 07732 497221 if you want to touch base and please tell me what else I can do to help you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Oh pooor you. Try local boot sales (there was a border terrier stolen, mated and then her and puppies sold at car boot sale), any papers with ads in (loot?), any of those kinds of "pubs" - he is a lovely looking puppy - maybe a status symbol? Maybe teenagers would be attracted to buying him?? Poster local schools/colleges. Can you offer a cash reward for information leading to his return, you'd be surprised what a motivator it is... (I know, it makes me sick too). Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Smaller posters are now on the info centre, left hand side, just above Dolly's Directive logo. Please download and print. Use these smaller ones for handouts and for posting through doors. Good to hand these to dogwalkers and postmen, but hand them out in pubs and boot sales as this is where some dogs get sold on. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Well done earz, and welcome on board Doglost. You are doing really well, and that is brilliant that you have got a story into the local paper. Try to do the same with any free papers that are delivered to your area, as these will be delivered to every home. You will probably need hundreds of posters. Place them wherever they are likely to be seen by the most people. Dog walking areas, dog bins, car parks, pubs, post offices, chip shops, local supermarkets, taxi offices, recycling depots, sorting office, refuse collecting depots, pet shops, stations, bus depots, bus stops, stables, and vets further out from your area. You must make ears too hot to handle. If you place your posters in clear plastic sleeves with the opening at the bottom it will protect them from rain and save you time checking and replacing them. You will need your time when any sightings come in. Good Luck with the postering. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
