- Hi. I have just seen this posted on a local (bury) site on FB
Hi, please can you post anonymously.
Please note a word of warning....travellers have set up camp on Whitehead Park, Elton; by the tennis courts.
The horrendous rubbish and littering aside, I wanted to make people aware that they have, at a minimum, 2 chihuahuas off leads, running free. I’ve just walked my dog past (mine on a lead) and they’ve flown straight for him growling and baring teeth. My dog is a puppy (although quite a large one!) so just got giddy and rather pulley but I think they were just that bit wary of his size to not try an actual attack. I am heavily pregnant so being pulled about wasn’t ideal, neither was having snarling dogs around my 2 young children who were with me! With all the barking and commotion not a single person from the caravans even looked over to see what was going on. It worries me that these dogs could go for children or attack a smaller / older dog. (Never mind the poo they’re depositing which isn’t getting picked up!!)
Thanks. - 2018-05-19 18:09 Mollymoo
