such good news but the boarding kennels need to get some padlocks and other security measures. it should never be possible for this to happen at any establishment. sadly today security is a priority

I have already said 'Well Done' over on Twitter to Dotty's hooman brother, for Getting the word out there, Sharing the CCTV Stills photos & Video as soon as they could & before Police had even Visited & poss. advised Not to make them public for fear of Hindering investigation, (aS has happened before I do believe).
the 😈 Thief MUST have been 👀 ing Social Media mustn't he , I hope He gets much more than a Slap on the Wrist & made an example of, that Pet Thieves will Not get away with this Evil Crime 😈🐾

I have just been advised that the person who stole Dotty is now in police custody. Here's hoping that he receives suitable punishment :)

Fantastic news - Dotty was handed into PDSA, Shamrock Street, Glasgow and the thief did a runner. She was definitely made too hot to handle with all the facebook shares. So happy x x x

@#stoppettheft owner already reported sightings earlier tonite , says they couldn't check them yet , they have jst been out to her half hr ago , so see if they follow them up now , would be a good idea if could get bus station postered

I have just asked Family on Twitter to obtain a CRN, altho' I was sure that you would already have advised.
I wonder if Bus Station can be Contacted by yourselves & asked if any cctv in station Or on the buses themselves?
Drivers & passengers mustve seen a Passenger Board with a dog !

Sighting of Dotty being walked on lead by thief yesterday (20th May) about 3 pm at the bottom shops on main st caldercruix. This means he had no car and probably using public transport.
The next possible sighting was today (21st May) near Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow.

i have Tweeted the poss. probable sighting.
Airdrie is only 20 mins or so away from Buchanan Bus Station, Glasgow .
Would there be any CCTV at the Bus Station ?
I do hope the Police will review it, if there is.

Wsav - your friend needs to phone police every hour on the hour or go to police station and ask to speak to a senior officer. This is absolutely shocking.

Possible lead - just spoke to a lady who is certain that today 21st May at 3 pm) she saw the man with Dotty approaching Buchanan Bus Station (near the concert hall). She said he was wearing the same clothes apart from having a different top. He appeared to be thinner and shorter than the video. He had tanned skin. The dog which she thought was Dotty had a red lead which was dropped down and she was walking beside him.

Wsav - reading on facebook that the police have still not attended and that two men were seen taking Dotty out of the back door and no vehicle involved. I have also read that there is CCTV footage which has been publicised. How much of this is true I don't know. Could I suggest that someone sets up a facebook page for Dotty and get the CCTV picture out there on facebook. There have been loads of recent dog thefts and lots have come home via this method - time is critical. My own feeling is that it could be someone local (but only a hunch).

Don't know about fishing gear , dotty is a friends dog , she had been boarded over weekend with other dog , only dotty was took 😔

Wsav - absolutely appalling that the Police had not attended, hopefully they will have now and seen the CCTV. I have seen on facebook mentioned that the culprits had fishing gear with them - I know the kennels is very near to a fishing club - assume the police will make enquiries from there. Please can you advise if Dotty is kennel owners dog or a dog being boarded there and was Dotty the only dog taken.

Wsav - sorry that Dotty is missing. Please could you provide more information regarding how she went missing. How do you know she was stolen? Was she in a kennel outside by herself or with others dogs? Do you have any CCTV? We need as much information as possible.
