I just read this in the Daily Mail and it sounded like Monkey and had to double-check here. Thank goodness he's safe. They recognised him by his "ear markings" it said. Stay safe now all five; there are some nasty people about.

So pleased to see all 5 are now home.I agree mardyscot,they remove microchips and cut tattoos from ears,obviously not an ounce of conscience. Hope all 5 are OK x

Have a look at this found dog (described as a whippet type) but has very similar markings to Monkey https://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/AFP349181

*** Update ***

We believe Monkey was used for coursing along the A46 in the Tetbury area last night.
A lady tried to get him but unfortunately 3 men got him first and put him in their Hyundai Tucson (blue) car.
They headed towards Nailsworth.

Please could all local people keep an eye out.
