Harry you are one handsome and lucky little guy. I have two BCs and know what wonderful freinds they make. One of mine called Sasha is the image of you Harry. She is also so brainy you would make a good pair as she brings hers and Mistys bowls out to be washed when they have finished eating just think you could then put it in the dishwasher! I think you were sent for a reason to your new owners I feel you needed them and most likely needed you too. Harry you are in excellent hands and hearts now you certainly have fallen on all fours. Stay safe now darling xxxx Bishop come on now be seen but most of all stay safe until you are found xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Finding Harry... it was the weekend before Easter and both of us quietly digging the veggie plot. So much more time for this sort of thing with no dogs to walk. A call on Chris's mobile from doglost... a collie been found in Cornwall and advertised on local radio - worth checking perhaps? Radio Cornwall weren't answering the phone but managed to track down the people who had found him through Rolo's owners. The finder asked firstly for a description of Bishop and told me the dog she had clearly wasn't Bish as it was only about 5 or 6 months old. She had seen it around for two or even three weeks and thought it must belong to a neighbour. On the Thursday night it had come cowering and crying to her back door begging for help. The resolve not to have another dog yet, only to take a puppy, and preferably not a black and white one, nor a pure collie just melted away. The kind lady who found him could not keep him and this poor little soul so desparately needed a home - NOW! He'd probably been abandoned in the middle of nowhere. Next day we went down to Cornwall and came home with Harry. He'd never been in a house before (ooops another accident!) so it was all very strange for him, and to make matters worse had a terrible upset tum (ooops - another accident!). He was painfully thin and increased his body weight by one third in the first two weeks! He's now fit and healthy and well adjusted with no issues. To put this in perspective last night he had his first 'overnighter' as a guest at a birthday party where there 14 adults and 7 dogs... he had a wail of time, played with dogs and humans, joined in the fun, slept like a log, and behaved brilliantly. Beach today and then with us to work as usual tomorrow. So Harry's home and Harry's learning how to play, and be happy, and bounce around like a six month old lad should. That's his story. Thanks to doglost and to destiny who brought him to us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Harry, what can we say ... a gift from someone unknown to bring light and love back into your new family. You really landed on your paws when you found your new home. Look after Mum and Dad and I hope that before too long 3 becomes 4 !.

This gorgeouse boy, now known as Harry, has really landed on his feet. He has been given a beautiful forever home with two of our doglost members. They will probably post later.
