Fantastic news. Stay very close now Toby:-) Presume Toby came home by himself? Someone has probably been feeding him and possibly the feeder has gone on holiday, or has moved from the area, and Toby has cone home for food? Cats! I`m not a fan of people feeding other folks cats, because of a situation like this, I would keep Toby indoors now for at least a week, or he may go awol again, but you know your own cat of course.

Also when searching for Toby, use the same deodorant , you use on day to day basis, as he will recognize the scent. Paws xd.

Hi JanieJewel, many thanks for your comment. Your advice is excellent - thank you. We are doing all the things you suggest, but Toby is still at large. We think he is lurking around the many large, leafy, unkempt gardens near here, but of course a secretive cat in an obscure location is very hard to find...

If Toby has been sighted, then someone is probably feeding him. (Common problem) Just because you don`t see a cat doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences; anything that leads to his sighting. Walk around the area, where he was seen, taking with you an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Post flyers through doors, as you may you find out, who or if someone is feeding Toby. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. If all else fails, you could borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection, or an animal rescue centre (For a small donation I think), and place inside an object with his scent on; your scent too. Paws xd.
