Maybe a long shot, but on www.preloved.co.uk, on page 5 there are 2 sets of siberians for sale.  1 set in Doncaster and the other in Hants.  The Doncaster doesn't state sex or ages.  Sorry if I raise any hopes, but may be worth a look.  Godd luck. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to Bubbles owner and they did follow up the Castleford sighting. This dog was picked up by the dog warden and taken to kennels and the owner went to see the dog but unfortunately it was not Bubble. Come home sooon Bubble, you are still out there somewhere and we are looking out for you xx pamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have you let YO8 and DN14 helpers know? I know some one in West Haddlessey put posters up and this is close to South Milford and there is a Flyball Club called Hillam Hotdogs which is the next village on in both of these postcode areas. Hope they turn up soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

bubble/mika, thanks for the update and fingers crossed it is your girls. How far is this from your home? Great that you have contacted the DW for the area and the Police, also contact vets in the area (you can find vets by ing the logo left hand side of DL. You need to poster the area as much as possible, you can print the smaller posters by going to the Info Centre also left hand side above Dolly's Directive log. Good luck and hope to see them in the blue soon. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Kept my eye out at the game fair for Mika and Bubble on Sunday and Monday. I only saw one and it was a male. I did put some posters up with all the dogs on but somne kind person took them down. Our car had them all over near the entrance so lots of people should have seen them. I will continue to keep my eye out for you xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, from the dog in RTA do you know what direction from S Milford they were going? My son in law does lots of walking and working his two dogs in the areas around Tadcaster, Sherburn, Boston Spa and I have asked him to keep a look out. Keep looking, my friends dog turned up after 5 months safe and well.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Joint smaller posters now done for Bubble and Mika and emailed to Yasa to go on the Info Centre, these will be ideal for handing out at the Selby Game Fair. Great if you could all team up with each other in your searches. Good luck. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh dear, I am so sorry, but do not give up hope, there are now quite a few of us in this area and we are all in the position to look out for one another, have you postered in the area? sorry to ask but where was the RTA, was it in this area. Why are all our babies disappearing from this area, unfortunately we have too good a road network. I am also from just outside Sherburn and my baby Pippin went missing last year chasing rabbits and was seen on the Sherburn by pass by the Wheatsheaf pub but that was about 1 hour after he went missing and has not been seen since, but I keep on looking. All our babies are out there somewhere, some one knows where they are, so keep your spirits up and keep postering. I am also going to Selby Game Fair.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

bubble/mika, welcome on board DL and thanks for registering and posting. Will get the mobile number added to their poster. I've just tried the landline number and it just rings out. Have rang the mobile number and explained the posters have been sent out with landline number and if anyone else rings they will not be able to contact them until after Easter. They are going to arrange for the number to be diverted. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Wrose is near Shipley. Not sure where South Milford is, but it's not far from Wrose to places like Calverly and other "in-between villages". The T&A used to do L&F on-line, but they stopped some time ago, sadly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just checked that ad from yesterday's paper - the husky type dog (doesn't say whether male or female) was found in Wrose, (Bradford?) on March 14th.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I dont like to ask, but if all three dogs were taken at the same time, do we have any idea where one of them was involved in an RTA - This might give us some idea of which direction 'they' ( i would like to call these people something else, but I wont) might have headed in?? I am out searching most nights for Meg and Pepper and as I live in Sherburn I will keep my eyes out and do what I can to help. The YEP had some Huskys for sale last night (advert just says male & female no indication of age or anything) might be worth calling to ask a few questions (07745000029)and also the details of another missing husky in the area LS10/11.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Briefly spoken to owner, she is sending a picture by mobile phone a.s.a.p. They had three dogs go missing and sadly one has been involved in a fatal RTA. Explained how to register and owner said she will do and leave an update. Thanks to everyone who is helping in the search for Mikka and Bubble, both dogs are identical in looks.
