Brilliant, these little chaps can't really survive on their own.The bath is just what he'll need to rehydrate him. We nearly lost ours after he climbed a wall!! It really was trial and error on how to contain him, but we found that if he can't see through fencing he doesn't try to climb over it. Ours is 70 years + and goes like the clappers on a hot day.NO MORE ADVENTURES GEORGE!

I've phoned MK Vets - they are in Milton Keynes, a long way from Bath but you never know. They don't think the one handed in is George, as it's not chipped, but I know sometimes the microchips can get lost so I've sent some photos and more details to them. Thanks again everyone.

Sorry to hear that George has gone missing.. its amazing how they can scale enclosures they are such determined climbers. Keep asking and postering, do neighbours have any newly planted veg patches he could be heading for? I hope he's home soon. The cooler weather will make his progress slower.

Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Post a LOST TORTOISE in a newspaper. Ask neighbours to do a thorough search of their gardens. Ask those with children, as they can be observant. Shell xd George is found very soon.
