BEAUTY being back with CLAIN is amazing, it was great to get the msg and pics from them she was finally safe.

This has been great TEAM WORK by all involved and a fantastic ending. THANKS a MILLION to everyone. BEAUTY will soon be on the mend with lots of TLC which she will be getting and sure CLAIN will be posting updates.

“When we say we have the news you’ve all been waiting for... we really do have the news you’ve all been waiting for! After EIGHT WEEKS of hell for our whole team, nothing could give us more pleasure than to make this announcement today. WE HAVE OUR BEAUTY BACK SAFE AND WELL!

The dedication and commitment shown by those who have been helping in the search for this vulnerable girl will never be forgotten and we can never thank you all enough. Barbecues to lure her out of hiding, loans of expensive equipment, overnight surveillance, physical searches in car and on foot, endless hours of time, unspoken support when our staff were tired and downhearted and needed it most - it has all helped more than you will ever know. Our whole team, but particularly Cathy and Kellie, would like to thank Donna, Deb, Laura, Greg, Charlotte, Danny, Jan, Jenny, Bernard, Tracey, Beth, Caroline, Netty, our staff members Lauren and Charlotte, and last but most certainly not least, Will and Lynn who managed to trap Beauty in the early hours of yesterday morning and help us bring her back to the sanctuary. Thank you just does not seem enough! We would also like to thank all of our supporters who’ve been out looking for our girl over the last 8 weeks. We may not know you all but we are so very grateful for your efforts. Thank you also to her fosterer Lyn who showed Beauty so much kindness during her time caring for her.

To say this has been a labour of love doesn’t even come close. We have had so many sleepless nights during these seemingly endless weeks of not knowing whether Beauty was safe or even alive, as well as the late nights, the early mornings, the heartache, the near misses, the disappointment, the fear of being too late, and then the eventual elation of getting her to safety. We still can’t believe it! The end result really does make it all worthwhile. Once we take a dog into our care we don’t give up on them, and the search for Beauty is a perfect example of what can happen when real dog lovers from very different walks of life all pull together for the sake of a little girl in danger. We could not be any more delighted to say Beauty is now safe on site and enjoying the TLC which will help to nurse her back to health. She is skinny but settled, and is already enjoying all of the extra cuddles from our staff.

Beauty will need some peace and quiet while she gets the medical attention and staff time she needs, so although we know lots of people would like to meet her we would ask that she does not have visitors just yet please while she takes some time to recuperate from her “adventure”! We have had a difficult couple of months at the rescue and this has all taken its toll both emotionally and financially. If anyone would like to donate a pound or two towards Beauty’s care it really would be very much appreciated.

We had a late night possible sighting of our missing Beauty. She has been out for over two weeks and this is the first viable sighting since the day after she went missing!

We have had searches going on over the last two weeks, but now that we think she is still local to the area where she went missing, we need to mobilise organised searches in groups.

If you have any free time to search with us over the coming days or nights in the Ormskirk/Lathom area please come to the rescue today for 4.30pm, where we will go through all the information we have and give out maps and instructions as to what needs to be done next.
