Tillys owner had no news. I Suggested a few of us meet to look round the area but she doesn't think there is any point! Owner is still calling D.W. and local rescues at intervals "just in case". Will try and get Tilly in BVM this week in case someone has taken her in. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I think postering whilst having a very good look round is key here. If the owner believes she is "gone" then so be it, but dogs don't disappear into thin air! Where is the local kennels/DW for this area? Bobble please feel free to search and poster at will, I know that Lynn and Poochpal have been postering in the area too, so please join forces and lets get this little old lady home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Immediate area was seached by owner and villagers as soon as she went. I would love to find this little dog but owner is convinced we wont. Happy to go a looking though. Anyone else?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Has the local area been thouroughly searched yet? Even though she isan old lady, she is a terrier and could have got lost hunting. I feel mso hopeless when this is local that there is no organisedsearch, stillwilling to help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no news or calls on Tilly. Owners have contacted local vets. dog wardens, rescue etc. and postered local area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Great suggestions there Lynn, I wonder if Tilly could have got herself stuck somewhere locally (a bit like Terry the Pug!!) due to the fact she has poor eyesight. I agree postering further afield is definately the best way forward.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tilly was let out at 4.45 and didn't return home. She is normally out for a short while due to being elderly and bad sighted. Was out with younger dog she lives with. Owner has looked around area with neighbours. I have Asked her to register which owner said will do. I have suggested postering not just in the village but all around the area, especially main roads which will have easter holiday traffic. Also suggested owner takes young dog out to look for her. Put Tillys poster on notice board at Morrissons, Wincanton today. This little dog has hardly any sight and lives in a very isolated rural location. Needs finding asap.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
