Thanks so much to all who helped with the search for Lily. As Sarah says, she is back at the kennel now with Sharon, being cared for until she is sure she is well enough to return to her owner, who is elderly. Lily has no skin left on her pads (from running flat out on pavement and tarmac on a very hot day), so is on antibiotics and painkillers, but is eating and drinking and should be fine. :)

Lily had only been with her new owner a couple of days .Her original owner Hannah came over today to help but to no avail .Im heading out again early morning to see if shes has tracked back to where she came out in front of me today she stepped back into the hedge then came back out so see may feel safe there

Thank you everyone who has helped looking for Lily but We really need to stress: Please do not chase or crowd her if you see her please just call her owner -do not attempt to catch her She will be very tired now and we DO NOT want her going anywhere near the river nearby - thank you all for your consideration and help!

Just come back from searching for Lily. There were three sightings this morning, but she managed to evade capture. She seems well, and is still in the area, which is good news. Search being expanded towards Maxey.

Posted in a Deeping group - Lily the greyhound has been seen in the field near the quarry , she's alive and there is group of people trying to coax her..

Search parties heading out again this morning, search will continue in the Deeping/West Deeping area.

Can I remind you all that help is most welcome in the search, but it's very important that you DO NOT chase after this dog. She is a nervous girl and will run in panic, and there are some serious hazards in the area - for instance a very deep and dangerous gravel pit with sides so steep that she (or you) would never be able to climb out. A bit further over, there is the bypass, and further still the railway line. Please be careful, both for Lily's sake and your own. If Lily is sighted, please ring Sharon on 07843 655003 - and thank you all so much for your help, whether it's actively searching for Lily, putting up DogLost posters, or sharing her details on FB and other media.

Have spoken to lady who had last positive sighting of Lily ,we are meeting tomorrow so she can show us exact location .Have been out looking this evening and met her owner
but we didnt have any luck hopefully tomorrow will be more positve x

Just seen large grey coloured Greyhound run out of peakirk road ,through market Deeping. Last seen heading towards large roundabout on Deeping bypass so it could go towards Bourne, Spalding or Stamford. Quite a few people following it in cars which I don’t think is doing much good. Just keeps running. Definitely has a collar on.
