Reynard -If 4 bouncers count as security, then yes, but they were unable to cope, according to media reports.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, here is some the story about the Gatecrashers at the Bovey Tracey mansion house party as written by Sky News. It seems quite a coincidence... A mother whose daughter's 18th birthday celebration was stormed by drunken gatecrashers has blamed BBC Radio One for revealing the location of the party According to Mrs Brooks, the gatecrashers stormed into their Georgian house and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. at the property in Bovey Tracey, on the edge of Dartmoor. Four bouncers hired for the event were unable to handle the boozy throng and police were called to clear the house with dogs. She said the four bouncers "did not stand a chance", adding that the behaviour of the gatecrashers was "off the scale". Devon and Cornwall Police said some of those who left the party went on to two nearby pubs, the Coach Inn and the Thatch Inn. A number of people were arrested but police were unable to say whether anyone had been charged.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If the press report I read is true, some of the gatecrashers were defnitely undesirables. Greylady I will pm you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello Greylady, Last week an 18 yr old's birthday party was gate crashed in Bovey Tracey by about 500 people after it was mentioned on national radio. Not quite sure of the location in relation to the kennels but obviously lots of people milling about that night. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner is active and looking for his dogs. Dog Wardens and kennels have been called just incase the dogs have got away from their captors.........Owner if you are able to register on the site and update us then please do. The kennels in Newton Abbot which takes the strays is Foredowne kennels (01803 872260) and also try Animals in Distress at Newton Abbot (01803 812121). Gables farm at Plymouth take the strays from that area (01752 331602) and occasionally Woodside (01752 347503) so try all these numbers and keep phoning them regularly to make sure they are aware of your dogs.......................I have emailed Foredowne kennels a poster of all 3 dogs. Anyone local please help by getting postering and asking around. Someone knew these dogs were there!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
