For those not on Facebook - from missing Benji - Benji was found no more than 5 min walk from where Wendy Gray and Stefanie Danvers sat up last night watching a trap set to catch this handsome little fella!. Over the last couple of days we, along with Sarah Tobin Niki Louis Rachael Elizabeth and Alexander Jason Skerritt had searched, put up posters, shared on Facebook and spoke to everyone we met along the way! BENJI wandered into the grounds of a pub(🤔😁)..but once again was spooked and ran through some railings and straight into the River Soar! The lucky pup was pulled to safety, taken home by the finder and given a warm bed and food for the night! We were notified this morning when they saw the poster and made contact!.. fantastic news!! Benji has been checked over by the vet and given a clean bill of health.

From Stefanie Danvers, copied with permission from Benji's facebook page: So myself and Niki Louis have been out all evening with Benji’s owner and friend following the report of a sighting. Benji was last seen running from the reservoir on Kinchley Lane, down Kinchley Lane and onto Bond Lane towards Mountsorrel. We have checked all of the area, spoken to lots of people who saw him and reported to Stonehurst Farm and the quarry. He is getting around with his lead safely by carrying it in his mouth, bless him! We now need more sightings so that we know he’s in the same area for us to be able to do our thing and get him home. IF YOU SEE HIM, DONT CHASE HIM! JUST REPORT SIGHTINGS. This is because we need him to stay in the same area and not scared away. Thanks for your help.

News has just come in of a possible sighting at Bradgate Park this morning, but not confirmed.
