Vet says tired and dehydrated but otherwise OK. A very big thank you to everyone who helped. Chrissie was out doing bbq in middle of night. Lots of people were searching and putting the word around, but it was 2 ladies who did not know about him who picked him up on the main Clowne to Bolsover road. They saw him on the verge, opened the car door and he jumped in.

Yes he is. Only a minor graze found but he us being checked over by vet. Can't be much wrong with him, he was whizzing round his garden and playing with their other dog when I saw him.

Thank you Alison. Dog wardens and vets have already been informed. Many volunteers are searching. It is likely that after his frantic run this morning, starting at 5.30 in Bolsover market place and then going through Clowne, Aussie will be resting up somewhere quiet.
