- Welcome home little Penny.x Well done to the wonderful lorry driver who rescued Penny from who knows what.x If owner does not want Penny chipped then I suggest that they keep Penny on a flexi lead in future to stop her wandering off. A nice shiny tag would be helpful just in case too. I have an elderly girl myself, quite deaf and eyes not too good now and she is never off a lead outside of my property just in case (and she is chipped). May not seem the best way to some but if a little dog like this gets lost, it's harder out there for them. Stay safe little Penny.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Welcome Home lovely Penny well done the lorry driver if not for you who knows what would have happened. But there is an old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink, in other words if the owner will not have this lovely girl chip no one will change their minds very sad, and the fact the little lady is party blind and deaf in anybody s mind the dog should be on a lead when out, or better supervised when at home in the garden. - Do you think, knowing how close they came not only to losing her but losing her to an unknown fate ( had it not been for that wonderful lorry driver) that they would now consider having her chipped???? Is it worth showing them this site and helping them to realise how important it is? Could a family member get her chipped when she goes to the vets for her jabs or something??? Cant bear the thought of this precious little bundle going missing again and meeting a sticky end just because nobody knows who she belongs to, Jay :-(Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Owner received information from a local who had been told by another local that a similar dog was sitting in the road and a vehicle stopped to pick it up. Owners have been unable to find the person that saw it happen. So at present we have to cover all possibilities.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
