At last we have a sighting!!
A small Poodle type dog matching Poppy's description was seen on land on the western part of the Marsh area of Puddletown on Monday this week. Unfortunately she ran off as soon as seen and the person who saw her didn't realise Poppy was missing till he saw a poster yesterday.
We are so relieved that she is alive and well but really need sightings called in immediately to be able to keep track of her movements.

Still no news of Poppy, it was open gardens in the village at the weekend so a good opportunity to hand out flyers and speak to many local people to raise awareness.
Thankyou to all who helped with spreading the word.

Sadly the drone did not pick up any signs of Poppy over the farmland. Many local people still not aware that she is missing so more posters have gone up and flyers handed out as she may have moved into the village itself.

Thermal imaging done covering the area this morning, hopefully we will be able
to spot her

Group search today. Covering manor grounds streamlines and wooded area. Still a lot of tall grass she could well be hidden in. Posted fb to local school. Few more flyers out. All very quiet. Come on poppy.
Leaving several cameras in key areas with scattered food and scents.

Please can we respectfully remind anyone helping search stick to public rights of way. Permission must be sought from the landowners to search private land a) to respect their privacy and protect their crops & land but also b) to keep you safe. The landowners ARE aware Poppy is missing and are watching out for her but have not given an open invitation for their land to be searched at anytime. Please respect this...... They have requested that anyone planning to do so speak with them first so they know who is doing what and where. Lisa Skelsey and Gina Benson are both in contact with both fosterer and landowners. Michelle Sheriff I believe hoping to visit with a thermal imaging camera.
There are several worrying aspects to concider, the vast expanse of land, a fast road and a fast running stream & her own medical condition (having had surgery)

I’ve shared on twitter, I’ve shared on Facebook and to local and nationwide groups. Hoping she’s seen and safely back soon! Keeping fingers tightly crossed

We walked along the bridleway scanning hedgelines with binoculars this evening hoping to spot any movement but nothing. It is usual for them to lie low for a day or 2 so hopefully hunger will overcome fear soon. You have done a great job raising awareness Ann, we just need a sighting now.

I am Poppy’s foster mum and am desperate for any sightings of her. Please be aware than she will be very nervous and has never been socialised or walked on a lead so she will be very frightened and confused. If you get a sight of her and can sit down and pat your lap and say to her come have a cuddle she is more likely to come to you but do not attempt to grab her or reach for her as she will just run. My telephone number is 01305848214 or 07810801961. Piddle Valley Vets are also aware as is the dog warden. Thank you for all your help

No news yet this morning. Last seen in the fields behind Athelhampton House but the grass is so high it was not possible to keep track of which way Poppy went.

I am a local dog walker and will be walking in the area tomorrow and will keep calling and looking. Hope she's found sooner .

Lots of offers to help, poster up in the vets and to be printed ready to go up in the morning if no luck overnight.
