- If no luck with Meeko, I would post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case he has climbed into a car. Paws xd.

- At the time Meeko went missing was anyone preparing to go on holiday? For instance when they opened their door to maybe put thing in their car, Meeko could have crept in, without being noticed. It can happen. Also is there a dominant cat in your area? Sometimes they will chase a cat lout of it`s own territory, however the cat usually returns within a few days, when they think i is "Safe" enough for them to do so. Paws xd

- Ps If you decide to use a trap, place it in, or near the garden.

- Have all outbuildings been checked THOROUGHLY? As some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. And they can stay very still, and quite, even though their owners may be present. Try this too now; when you are searching, wear the same deodorant, you use on a day to day basis, as he will recognise he scent, and your the one he trusts. Also take with you an air freshener, which you use on a regular basis, as it should remind Meeko of his home comforts. If all else fails, I would borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection (For a small donation I think). Place inside the trap, an object with his scent on, along with your scent too. I wouldn`t put food/treats in at first, because of other cats. Also check behind hedges/bushes too, bearing in mind that cats can crawl into very small spaces, due to their flexible spines, Paws xd.

- Indoor cats will feel extremely anxious being out of their comfort zone, which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They will usually hide close by their own homes. A door Meeko has access to. open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance). Put some tuna, or warn chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Rattle some Dreamies too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave it a few yards from the open door. Post flyers through doors too. He is probably having a little adventure in someone`s garden. Check outbuildings, and behind hedges, bushes too. Hope Meeka is home very soon. Paws xd.
