- Update from Max's family....
So, the boy is home! <3 Apologies for the lack of reunion photos, between his rushing around and my crying photos and videos weren't great.
He had been found by a local rescue tied to their gate and by scanning him they got him home. We had no idea what to expect when we saw him but he seems exactly the same, still a mix of playful and sedate, the same weight, the same wonderful cuddles. Rushed in greeted Darren, made a fuss of all his old friends and two new ones, grabbed his favourite ball and went on a tour of his estate, peeing in every corner (still squatting like a girl :-) ), found a pumpkin and chased that round with his nose, came in for a big drink, remembered all the games he used to play with Darren, remembered where the treats were kept.
We are letting him just enjoy being at home today and tomorrow it’s bath time and a trip to the vet for a check up and to have his vacs that he missed this summer.
Thank you to everyone who helped get him back, there were so many off you, from searchers, leafleters, to sharers and social media groups and the amazing team at www.DogLost.co.uk who were there for us from the minute he got taken, plus a lot of others working hard behind the scenes. I only wish every story could have this happy ending. I’ve come across animal stories that have broken my heart in my search for Max but always took comfort in the sheer amount of people, many total strangers, who were willing him home, following his story and offering messages of support and phone calls, special thanks to lovely Nichole at Atta’s Lost & Found.
His owner is thrilled and elated to have his boy home, he’s not been out of the house or even to bed, since the day Max was stolen. Today that changes, he needs to be out with Max, firing the ball launchers and encouraging him to go through tunnels and that’s what he was doing 20 minutes after Max bounded in through the door.
The very best early Christmas present and a massive thanks once again to everyone who shared this traumatic journey with us right through to its happy conclusion. - 2018-11-08 16:34 Patlucky

- Sadly still no news on our poor boy. We've remembered he does have a distinguishing mark though, a black smudge on his tongue. Owner is now offering £1000 reward for his safe return or if any one wishes to help in his return totally anonymously they can do on this number which is a dedicated answering service that will not pass on any details to identify the caller: 01603 383347. Thank you everyone for caring about returning Max home <3

- Max has only been seen once since he went missing and this was just hours after he escaped, he was with a man who had him by the collar and was taking photos, Max’s owners really need to speak with this man.
