Just to add that for those of you who don't know the area well, it is only around about a 20 minute drive from the GU27 postcode to Amberley where George went missing from I think this guy should possibly be included in the link to the Blackdown twosome?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

George still missing. Owners devastated George is an old dog and much loved and his medications requirements are very necessary for his welfare. How about the shooting community getting involved? It is imperative that George comes home or is at least left nearby. Don't forget his ear is tattooed. His working days are over at his age and he is deaf!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If you click on 'useful links' many ideas and rescues you can perhaps email. Please put up posters everywhere so that 'everyone' knows he is missing, posters really do work, Pubs, Shops, etc any travellers in the area then get on to the G. liazon officer and poster outside camp, reward on poster may help. Contact other owners with similair circumstances, working breeds, stolen as may be conected (see Fern Springer SW for one also Tanner, whippit ,SW in blue) and/or can help you with postering, ideas, and support. Contact Dog wardens, rescues in border counties as may not been in your area now. Good luck. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

george was stolen from the conservatory of his home in Amberley, west sussex. owner saw men leaving her garden over the fence and went to check and saw George had gone. The kennel in which he usually sleeps had also been opened. George is 12, neutered, tattooed and on medication for dry eye and a double hernia. However, he looks like a younger dog because he is so fit. A group of up to four men were also seen leaving the garden and getting into a vehicle that was possibly a rav 4, possibly silver but unclear as it was so dark.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
