- i would borrow cat trap from an animal rescue, or Cat Protection And ask new owner of your previous home, if you could leave it in their garden. Place her UNWASHED blanket inside the trap, along with your scent too. I wouldn`t put food. in at this stage because of other cats. When you return to look around, wear the deodorant you use on a day to fay basis, as she will recognise the scent, and your he one she trusts. Post flyers through doors too.
