- House cats will usually feel very scared, and scared being out of their comfort zone which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. They usually hide close by their own homes. A door she has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block her entrance. Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. /rattle some Dreamies too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into clean container, along with your scent too. Leave it about 2 metres the open door. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Also check behind hedges/bushes too, bearing in mind that cats can crawl into narrow spaces (Flexible spines). Hope your girl is home very soon. Paws xd. Last edited: 2018-06-17 18:57:12
